Experience the culture of Pashupatinath Temple

This is the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu, its existence is recorded as early as 400 CE. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva, protector of animals. Located on both banks of Bagmati River, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is definitely another Kathmandu place to go to. 

Non-Hindus aren’t allowed inside the main temple, but the surrounding area will offer a unique cultural experience to anyone that visits it. It is also considered a masterpiece of Hindu architecture.
